Toughened Glass
Toughened glass, also known as tempered glass, is physically and thermally stronger
than normal glass. It has twice the resistance as normal glass, If broken It will
shatter into small fragments instead of sharp pieces of glass, making it less likely
to cause severe injury.
Example of toughened glass
As a result of its safety and strength toughened glass is used in Car door windows,
glass doors and as a component of bulletproof glass.
